A Few More Henderson Hasselbalch Problems:

(pKa of acetic acid is 4.76)

1. For 500 ml of solution of .5M acetic acid at pH 4.6, how many moles of HCl (assume no volume change) would have to be added to get the salt to acid ratio as 1/8?

2. For 500 ml of solution of .5M acetic acid at pH 4.6, how many moles of NaOH (assume no volume change) would have to be added to get the salt to acid ratio as 8/1/?

3. If you mix the two solutions above, what will be the pH of the resulting solution?
