Description

Subfamily: Neotominae

Dusky-foot (stripe on hind foot extending to toes). Tail NOT distinctly bicolored or bushy; tail long >15 cm. Total length ~42 cm, tail ~21 cm.

Skull Characteristics

SKull length ~5 cm. Prismatic teeth.

Sphenopalatine vacuity open (gaps around the presphenoid).
