| Description | Ears proportionally smaller than mule deer. Forehead generally not darker than rest of face. Tail is broad, tapered, dark above and pure white below, used as flag when alarmed. Does not stott. Tail may be black in eastern US, and very large. Antler: All tines branch from forward curving main beam. |
