Description White with white beard and short tail, some brown hairs dorsally. Powerful forelimbs for climbing, hooves can spread to brake or grasp rock. Textured foot pads. Horns: Both male and females have narrow, smooth, recurved black horns. Horns on males tend to be more curved.
Skull Characteristics Skull narrower and horns closer together at base than female Ovis canadensis.
