| Skull Characteristics | Lasiurus genus has 1 upper incisor, short skull, wide rostrum (see photo comparison slide 10). Vespertilionidae family, lower incisors are trifid (3 cusps), though this microscopic character, may be difficult to see if teeth are worn. |
