Cancer Component

1. I use tanning salons and/or sunlamps to get a tan during those months of the year when the weather is not ideal for tanning.
2. I wear a protective sunblock whe I am going to be in the sun for any length of time.
3. I eat a diet that is high in cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli) and other sources of fiber.
4. I examine my breasts (females) or testicles (male) regularly for abnormalities.

6. I avoid bars/restaurants and other establishments where there are heavy concentrations of cigarette smoke.
7. I consciously try to avoid using harsh chemicals or substances when cleaning, killing household pests, and so on, in my home environment.
8. I am "sensitive" to my body's functioning and seek medical assistance quickly when I notice unusual changes or experience unusual body "feeling."
