Welcome to FOR 365. My name is Dawn Anzinger, and
I'll be your instructor this term. I have a diverse background
in natural resources which I look forward to sharing. I received
my undergraduate degree in Natural Resources right here at OSU
after working for several years in organic agriculture. I went
on to receive my Master's degree in Forest Science from OSU studying
the interrelationships between human cultures, fire ecology, and
forest resources management, all the while continuing to run an
organic market garden for profit and pleasure. My interests include
organic agriculture, sustainable forestry, and the conservation
of plants valued by American Indians. I am looking forward hearing
your interests and concerns about natural resource conservation.
I would like this course to be a learning environment where we
can all learn about the issues concerning the use and management
of natural resources together. |
