Access to library resources |

 |
If you are having difficulty accessing online library resources, please
try one of the following troubleshooting options:
- If you are an AOL or MSN user, the AOL and MSN browsers do not work
with the library's authentication procedure for accessing its subscription
databases. To resolve this problem, do the following:
- Open your AOL connection in order to access the Internet
- With your AOL connection open, open another internet browser (such
as Netscape or Internet Explorer), and use this browser to access
the OSU library website
- Configure this other browser to access the library's proxy
server.
- If you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer, you may not have your
browser correctly configured to use the library's proxy
server.
If you are trying to access the library's website from your computer
at work, it may be that your office network resides behind a firewall,
which restricts access to proxy servers. Check with your network technician
if this is the case; if so, you will have to use a home computer to access
the library's subscription databases.
