Potential Questions

  1. Some people are afraid to seek help from mental health professionals, possibly because of the stigma attached to mental health problems. Why does stigma exist and what is it based on?
  2. Why do some people from dysfunctional families grow up seemingly well-adjusted, while others seem scarred for life?
  3. Are the principles of psychological well-being taught and practices in our public schools? Is this information important?
  4. What impact does the current level of violence in this country have on psychological well-being. (Example: 9/11 or terrorist coverage)
  5. If you have future plans to be a parent, or are currently a parent, what specific things can you do to develop and enhance your children’s psychological well-being?
