Introduction
What does psychological health man in your life? Most people, although
suffering through occasional "blahs" can function at a reasonable level,
getting through life's little problems and hurdles. Most of the time,
when we feel down, it is only temporary. However, in increasing numbers,
young adults are finding that they can't seem to get it together emotionally.
For them, life may often seem like a pretty nasty place, complete with
frustration, anxiety, boredom and a general lack of zest for living. Why
are some people having such a hard time psychologically, while others
are able to face adversity, yet come back ready for more? What factors
seem to be most predictive of positive reactions to life's crises? In
this unit you will learn about many of the key aspects of psychological
wellness and the factors that influence your psychological health.
