- Milk production peaks at 3-4 weeks
- Produce 4-8 lb per day
- Ewes with twins produce 20-40 % more than ewes with singles
- Requirement for lactation:
- Intake 4 % BW; 6.6 Mcal ME/day(4 lb TDN); .9-1.0 lb CP/day
